How the Fund Works

You Donate

Make a one-time or monthly donation. Option to cover payment fees so 100% of your gift reaches the fund.

Fund Grows

The fund is built from 5% of team registrations, 20% of memberships, 5% of sponsorship, and 100% of direct donations (all net of fees). When it reaches £1,000, clubs can apply for grants of up to £300.

Clubs Recruit

Trustees review applications and award grants for open days, taster sessions, veterans outreach, and other grassroots recruitment initiatives.

What Grants Support

CDF grants are exclusively for initiatives that bring new disabled players into wheelchair basketball at a grassroots level. It's a circle of life: 5% of team registrations, 20% of community memberships, 5% of sponsorship, and 100% of direct donations (net of fees) all fund the events that welcome the next generation.
