Kingston Panthers Wheelchair Basketball Club, based in Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, is a prominent team dedicated to promoting inclusivity and accessibility in sports. The Panthers hold training sessions every Tuesday at St. Mary's Academy Sports Hall on Cranbrook Avenue. These sessions are divided into an open session from 5:00 to 6:00 PM, welcoming newcomers and those interested in trying the sport, followed by a team session from 6:00 to 7:00 PM for more experienced players.
As Hull's only community wheelchair basketball club, the Panthers have cultivated a supportive environment that encourages participation from both disabled and able-bodied individuals. Their commitment to fostering a sense of community and promoting physical activity has made them a vital part of the region's sports landscape.
In addition to their regular training sessions, the Panthers actively engage with the broader community. Recently, they hosted a session with Little Victories in the Community, highlighting their dedication to outreach and inclusivity.
