Wakefield Whirlwinds Wheelchair Basketball Club, based in Featherstone, West Yorkshire, is a welcoming and inclusive club offering opportunities for players of all ages and abilities. The club provides a strong platform for both competitive and recreational players, with teams competing across multiple divisions, including Division 1, Division 2, Division 3, Women’s League, and Junior League.

Training sessions take place at Featherstone Sports Centre on Tuesday evenings (experienced players) and Friday evenings, catering to different skill levels and ensuring everyone has the opportunity to develop and enjoy the sport. The Whirlwinds are committed to growing wheelchair basketball within the community, fostering teamwork, skill development, and an encouraging atmosphere for all players.
